Yeah! I finally have internet connection!
I couldn't resist this train graffiti I found in Hastings, Minnesota while on a walk back in the spring of 2007. This one is quite funny to me. The enormous eyes, the detail that went into just the ears alone. great shadowing technique with spray paint. It's very well done to whomever the artist was.

You're right - the ears are a hoot!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know what those writings mean? Are they just the "artist's" initials?
this is the kind of photo i wanted to get, but the trains were going too fast thru town... there is some really cool 'art' on some of these trains, and yours is great!
ReplyDeleteSlinger, Congrats on being back among the living! Donchajusthate when that happens!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful example. I'm really impressed with the way the artist was respectful of the railroad's car markings, leaving them visible and even encorporating them into his/her own design.
Hope it a great weekend for you and that spring is just around the corner.

Very nice photo for theme day!
ReplyDeleteNot the sort of passenger I'd like to sit next.
ReplyDeleteNice one - I think this is only the second example of train-graffiti I've seen so far today.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like mobile graffiti.
ReplyDeleteThose artists are very talented in may way, I wonder there is some other way to express their talent.
Cool graffiti! Have spray paint, will travel. :)
ReplyDeleteNice one. Train art is so interesting.
ReplyDeleteI am always impressed with the talent one can do --if they have talent--with a spray paint can. nice one.
