Took this one a couple weekends ago during a family night bonfire. I had to wait a couple of hours for the moon to be high enough over the roof of my home in order to get it into this shot. I did an exposure time of 15 seconds, f/5. My one question to you is, do you see the cat in the photo?

You've got me stumped there.
ReplyDeleteIs that a cat looking out from inside, sitting about half way up?
ReplyDeleteI like the way you set this up.
ReplyDeleteOur thoughts ......
ReplyDelete1)I think I see the cat inside the house.
2) (this is my husband speaking) "I hope the cat is not in the fire".. sorry... he has a weird sense of humor. (although the flame looks like a fat Garfield).
3) I looks like something is on the back of the little gal in the photo. Maybe keeping her neck warm. - just a guess.
I like fire shots. Very nice photo.
I can relate with that humor.
ReplyDeleteMy cat Ruby is about half way up, from left to right, the second window. You can see his front legs and he must have moved his head as it's all blurred. He is sitting on a table that we eat dinner at when it's warm in our house, but cooler outside, plus there are no bugs. That totally rocks! The three season porch was a big reason we chose the house we did.
I had a lot of fun taking these fire photos. I took well over a couple dozen, trying different camera settings, different shot locations.
I thought that might be the cat, when I clicked on the photo to make it bigger. I'm glad to know that there's some blur involved because I was afraid y'all might need to put the cat on a diet!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo of fire and moon--I don't think it's bad at all.
