Or green with envy of this fabulous looking dinosaur that WAS on display up until about two weeks ago. The day I took this photo was the first time I had seen any of these dinosaurs scattered around St Paul. I'm not sure how many in all, but there was more than just this one. Three days later, I made a return visit to the very same sidewalk that this green giant was on display with about twelve other creatively painted dinos. History had repeated itself and all of the dinosaurs had vanished! Gasp! I'm blaming global warming on this recent dino extinction.

ReplyDeleteAre the Snoopys still on display around St. Paul?
RE: Nashville Predators Hockey. . .Your guess is as good as mine. There is a local group still trying to buy them to keep them here, but financing is an issue. The city seems unwilling to restructure the team's lease agreement with the arena and to give them more tax money. In the meantime, the Canadian who tried to buy the team earlier this year and move them to Canada, has made another offer. This one would keep the team here and let the local ownership group have some part of it. HOWEVER, there is an escape clause, and the whole thing is very complicated. Bottom line. . .I'm guessing the Preds will move eventually.
I love this!! Do you think it would fit in my yard? :)
ReplyDeleteThank goodness you got this photo before the disappearance. It's great!
ReplyDeleteQuite a psychedelic dinosaur. I love the colors and the sharpness of the image.
ReplyDeleteThe snoopy's are on display at the businesses that purchased them. So you have to look hard to find them these days.
ReplyDeleteDecorated dinos disappearing? What a disasterous dilemma! I think you are right, definitely proof of global warming.
ReplyDeleteBlather From Brooklyn
Fun photo and text, very cute, I love this. We had horses in Syracuse and frogs in Grosse pointe farms and when I was in Slovenia, they had female superheros. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteCute dino! I like her toenails and lipstick.
ReplyDeleteVery adorable :) I wish we had a dino display in Montego Bay! :)
ReplyDeleteWell written! The dino is cute and colourful
ReplyDeleteErrr....I don't know if I should be horrified or amused by the design. :-)
