Just a few of the boats that were lined up on the Mississippi River, docked up by Harriot Island in St Paul. I would have liked to have had more of a clear reflection shot for this one, but the river waters and the wind was moving rather fast this day.

What a coincidence with my post !
Nice shot.
Thank you to put me in your top three !
You know, those trembling reflections are even more interesting than glassy ones.
That's a lovely photo and yes, the water trembling like that is a great effect.
I've been fascinated by the Mississippi since reading Tom Sawyer as a child ;)
Interesting photo. We got the Delta Queen down in Cincinnati. It is a pretty large boat. Have you ever seen it?
I love the reflection. Looks like an impressionist painting.
I like how the boats are lined up in your photo.
The Mississippi is our very own river and isn't it fun!!?? Great shot; ever eat in the restaurant there? Haven't done so in years, but it was always fun. Wonder if it's still there?
It is still there! It used to be eat breakfast there when it was called the 'No Wake Cafe' now it is called....ummmm....I'll think of the name later. I have a photo of it I plan to post one of these days.
The funny thing is, look at today's photo again. The cafe you speak of is just out of frame on the left.
A.L. I've never seen the name Delta Queen on the big ships that pass through, usually if I see a boat, I'm just out of range to read what boat it is named. If it's been up in Minnesota, odds are I've seen it, but didn't know it.
I like this photo a lot - the reflection on the water is great!
I grew up in Minnesota (Woodbury) and spent a lot of time on the water growing up. This brings back memories...
Just like old times rolling on the river.
I really like how the reflections start to fuzz out at the end - nice photo - neat looking boats
Looks like a pretty good shot to me Slinger.
