Payed a visit to Lock and Dam Number 2 which is located near the Hastings border on the Mississippi River. This is the entrance to the observation area which obviously leads to the area where you can watch the boats rise and fall, depending on which way they are headed.My Top 3 Daily Photo Favorites

like this shot.. we've a simular set up here in North Shields UK.. the Children just love watching the boats come in and the water levels rise and fall.. their amazed at what looks like the gates shutting by themselves.
