I took this photo while at work in February without any intension on using it for the March theme day. This is the father's first child, his wife had to be somewhere for an hour or so and she brought the new born into see daddy. After a quick feeding and a messy diaper, the end result was comfort and relaxation in dad's arms. So for the theme of the month, this dad was working at work and working at being a dad all in the same photo.

    Slinger, I thought of this for a shot and had so many construction photos I went with that instead. I'm so glad you covered this for theme day. Parenting is the most important work most of us ever do. Isn't it wonderful that work places have loosened up in the last number of years to allow us to bring our kids when in a pinch.

    Thanks for stopping by Seattle Daily Photo. I cracked up at your comment. Too funny! Of course the guy was drilling to put a metal spike in to keep the steel plate from moving out from under cars that drive over it.
