Almost Christmas here in my part of the world, it's officially the 'eve' now as I feverishly wrap the remaining gifts for my family. This is a photo of my mom and dads fireplace that they have decorated quite nicely with a mirror and a ton of candles. It gives a very nice warmth without having a blazing fire.
Merry Christmas to all!

Clever idea, slinger. I have a few candles in my fireplace but I think I'll borrow their idea and use a mirror and more candles. Happy holidays!! PS. Who's profile in the mirror?
superbe photo et belles collection de bougies. bravo et joyeux noel
superb photograph and beautiful collection of candles. cheer and merry Christmas
the profile is an uncle of mine. The mirror does add a great effect when you are standing, my angle was quite low and didn't give a good reflection of the candles when one normally looks at it. I was using a chair as a tripod, so I had to take the low angle and avoid using a flash.
I tried it and I know the grandkids will love it. I need a bigger mirror and more candles tho.
How very beautiful photo!
Merry Christmas :)
Nice picture Slinger, we all seem to be struggling with a lack of snow this year.

Hey slinger! I finally opened a blogger account just so I could comment on this shot. This is awesome, one of the coolest shots I have seen on your photoblog. Great job with the lighting and the colors!
