I can only guess, based on your caption, that that door might open out over the water, but it's impossible to tell from the photo whether the building ends right there or not. Speaking of Will Robinson, I used to love that show!!! :)

I can't figure it out. I see EL (elevation?) 15.4 (feet?), but other than the obvious danger of falling in the water, I'm not quite sure. Tell us!!
